Friday, July 4

6:45 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk - Location Simon Elementary School Parking Lot

7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - 4th of July Breakfast Fundraiser Downtown hosted by

Anna’s Pizza & Pasta

8 a.m. - 3 on 3 Soccer Tournament

9 a.m. - Parade Line-up in front of High School on McNair (all cars & trucks will need to show proof of insurance before driving in the parade)

10 a.m. - Parade (McNair to Benton Street, Winnebago Road to Elida Street)

11 a.m. - 10 p.m. - Food Booths Open

11 a.m. - Business Booths Open

11 a.m. - (Following Parade) Bedrace on Elida Street -  Police vs. Firemen

11:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies (Main Stage)

11 a.m. - Dark - Oak Ridge Amusements

12 p.m. - Car Show

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Timber Point Band (Main Stage)- Local Blue Grass Band

12 p.m. - 9 p.m. - Karaoke

1 p.m. - Volleyball Tournament

1 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Parent/Teen Jail

1 p.m. - Kiddie Tractor Pull

1 p.m. - The Injunettes (Main Stage)

2 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Hudson - McCoy Band (Main Stage) - Classic Rock & Roll

2:40 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Pie Eating Contest (sign up at Information Center)

2 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Billy the Balloon Guy

3:40 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Water Balloon Toss with a Twist

5 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Mystery Eating Contest / Balloon Toss

APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE VILLAGE OFFICE

 

 

 

The 4th of July Team is already making plans for this year's 4th of July Family Festival.  Want to help plan this event?  The Team meets the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Office at 108 West Main Street. 

 

All of the festival is planned and run by volunteers.  Give back to your community by volunteering.  Call 815 335-2020 to volunteer! 

 

 

 

4TH OF JULY PARADE

 

Line up for the parade is 9:00 a.m. in front of the high school on McNair Road - parade starts at 10:00 a.m.  No pre-registration needed.  All cars and trucks will need to show your insurance card before driving in the parade.
