Village President
The Village President is the Chief Elected Officer and presides at all meetings of the Village Board. The President is ultimately responsible for ensuring all ordinances and state laws are observed and enforced, and all Village officers, boards, committees and commissions properly discharge their duties. The Village President is elected at-large for a four-year term of office.
Village Board
The Village Board, comprised of the Village President and six Trustees, is the legislative branch of Village government. The Board is responsible for establishing Village policies and standards, establishing pay ranges for Village employees and officials, adopting the annual capital and operating budgets and establishing the tax levy to fund Village operations. Village Board members are elected at-large and serve overlapping two or four year terms.
The Village Board meets the first Monday after the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Office which is located at 108 West Main Street.
