“FBI-LEEDA instructors frequently refer to “the leadership journey” as they interact with leaders in all our classes. The leadership journey should be taken to heart by all police leaders. Leadership, as our kindred souls in other walks of life have known for centuries, must be a purposeful undertaking. That purposeful nature is the way in which the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Series curriculum has been constructed. To maximize the benefits of this purposeful undertaking, it is highly recommended that every leader completes the entire Trilogy Series, the Supervisor Leadership Institute (SLI), the Command Leadership Institute (CLI), and the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI). We consider the Trilogy courses as pieces of a puzzle that all fit together to form a whole educational experience on leadership.” -FBI-LEEDA

FBI-LEEDA presents law enforcement agencies whose entire Command Staff have completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership series with the FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award. The Winnebago Police Department holds the distinction of being the first Illinois agency to attain the FBI LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award. This accomplishment reflects the department’s dedication to fostering high standards of leadership and its commitment to providing exceptional service to the community. It also underscores the department's proactive approach to law enforcement training and development.
